¹⁷ Then Samuel called the people together ^(A)to the Lord ^(B)at Mizpah,

Israel’s War with the Benjamites

20 So ^(A)all the children of Israel came out, from ^(B)Dan to ^(C)Beersheba, as well as from the land of Gilead, and the congregation gathered together as one man before the Lord ^(D)at Mizpah.

⁵ And Samuel said, ^(A)“Gather all Israel to Mizpah, and ^(B)I will pray to the Lord for you.” ⁶ So they gathered together at Mizpah, ^(C)drew water, and poured it out before the Lord. And they ^(D)fasted that day, and said there, ^(E)“We have sinned against the Lord.” And Samuel judged the children of Israel at Mizpah.
