⁸Fiţi^(A) treji şi vegheaţi! Pentru că^(B) potrivnicul vostru, diavolul, dă târcoale ca un leu care răcneşte şi caută pe cine să înghită. ⁹Împotriviţi-vă^(C) lui tari în credinţă, ştiind^(D) că şi fraţii voştri în lume trec prin aceleaşi suferinţe ca voi.
