1 Peter 5:5-8

⁵ Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. ^(A)Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for ^(B)“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

^6 (C)Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, ^7 (D)casting all your anxieties on him, because ^(E)he cares for you. ^8 (F)Be sober-minded; ^(G)be watchful. Your ^(H)adversary the devil ^(I)prowls around ^(J)like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
