13 Instead, rejoice as you share in the sufferings of Christ,(A) so that you may also rejoice with great joy when his glory is revealed.(B) 14 If you are ridiculed for the name of Christ,(C) you are blessed, because the Spirit(D) of glory and of God[a] rests on you. 15 Let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or a meddler.[b]

13 But rejoice(A) inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ,(B) so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.(C) 14 If you are insulted because of the name of Christ,(D) you are blessed,(E) for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. 15 If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler.

13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
