6 Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,
(A)“Behold, I lay in Zion
A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”
7 Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who [a]are disobedient,
(B)“The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone,”
8 and
(C)“A stone of stumbling
And a rock of offense.”
(D)They stumble, being disobedient to the word, (E)to which they also were appointed.

Y el que creyere en él, no será avergonzado.(A)
7 Para vosotros, pues, los que creéis, él es precioso; pero para los que no creen,
La piedra que los edificadores desecharon,
Ha venido a ser la cabeza del ángulo;(B)
8 y:
Piedra de tropiezo, y roca que hace caer,(C)
porque tropiezan en la palabra, siendo desobedientes; a lo cual fueron también destinados.

They stumble because they are disobedient to the word, to which also they were appointed.
