1 Peter 2:23-3:1

New International Version

²³ When they hurled their insults at him,^(A) he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats.^(B) Instead, he entrusted himself^(C) to him who judges justly.^{(D) 24} “He himself bore our sins”^(E) in his body on the cross,^(F) so that we might die to sins^(G) and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”^{(H) 25} For “you were like sheep going astray,”^[a](I) but now you have returned to the Shepherd^(J) and Overseer of your souls.^(K)

3 Wives, in the same way submit yourselves^(L) to your own husbands^(M) so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over^(N) without words by the behavior of their wives,
