^5 (A)who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

^8 (A)For by grace you have been saved ^(B)through faith, and that not of yourselves; ^(C)it is the gift of God,

⁶ being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun ^(A)a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

God’s Everlasting Love

³¹ What then shall we say to these things? ^(A)If God is for us, who can be against us? ^32 (B)He who did not spare His own Son, but ^(C)delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? ³³ Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? ^(D)It is God who justifies. ^34 (E)Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, ^(F)who is even at the right hand of God, ^(G)who also makes intercession for us. ³⁵ Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? ³⁶ As it is written:

^37 (I)Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. ³⁸ For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor ^(J)principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, ³⁹ nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Stand Fast

¹³ But we are ^[a]bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God ^(A)from the beginning ^(B)chose you for salvation ^(C)through ^[b]sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, ¹⁴ to which He called you by our gospel, for ^(D)the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁸ And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. ^29 (A)My Father, ^(B)who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. ^30 (C)I and My Father are one.”

¹⁵ I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but ^(A)that You should keep them from the evil one.

^11 (A)Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, ^(B)keep^[a] through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one ^(C)as We are. ¹² While I was with them ^[b]in the world, ^(D)I kept them in ^[c]Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and ^(E)none of them is ^[d]lost ^(F)except the son of ^[e]perdition, ^(G)that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
