Called to Blessing

⁸ Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be ^[a]courteous;

^10 (A)Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, ^(B)in honor giving preference to one another;

^31 (A)Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, ^[a]clamor, and ^(B)evil speaking be put away from you, ^(C)with all malice. ³² And ^(D)be kind to one another, tenderhearted, ^(E)forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Walk in Love

5 Therefore^(F) be imitators of God as dear ^(G)children. ² And ^(H)walk in love, ^(I)as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God ^(J)for a sweet-smelling aroma.

The Enduring Word

²² Since you ^(A)have purified your souls in obeying the truth ^[a]through the Spirit in ^[b]sincere ^(B)love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

Meditate on These Things

⁸ Finally, brethren, whatever things are ^(A)true, whatever things are ^(B)noble, whatever things are ^(C)just, ^(D)whatever things are pure, whatever things are ^(E)lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. ⁹ The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and ^(F)the God of peace will be with you.

¹⁷ But ^(A)the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, ^(B)without partiality ^(C)and without hypocrisy.
