Og Abraham døde i en god Alderdom, gammel og mæt af Dage, og samledes til sin Slægt. 9 Og hans Sønner Isak og Ismael jordede ham i Makpelas Klippehule på Hetiten Efrons Zohars Søns, Mark over for Mamre, 10 den Mark, Abraham havde købt af Hetiterne; der jordedes Abraham og hans Hustru Sara.

New International Version
8 Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age,(A) an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people.(B) 9 His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him(C) in the cave of Machpelah(D) near Mamre,(E) in the field of Ephron(F) son of Zohar the Hittite,(G) 10 the field Abraham had bought from the Hittites.[a](H) There Abraham was buried with his wife Sarah.
