1 Maccabees 7:37-39

³⁷ You, heavenly one, chose this house
to be called by your name
    and to be a house of prayer
    and petition for your people.
³⁸ Take vengeance on this man
and on his army!
    Make them die by the sword.
Remember their evil slander.
    Don’t let them live any longer.
