¹³ What therefore is it to us for to live (any longer)? [What therefore yet to us for to live?]

¹⁴ And Mattathias and his sons rent their clothes, and covered them(selves) with hair-shirts, and wailed greatly.

¹⁵ And they that were sent of (or by) king Antiochus, came thither, for to constrain them that fled together into the city of Modin, for to offer and burn incenses, and for to depart from the law of God.
