10 In the one hundred and sixtieth year[a] Alexander Epiph′anes, the son of Anti′ochus, landed and occupied Ptolema′is. They welcomed him, and there he began to reign. When Deme′trius the king heard of it, he assembled a very large army and marched out to meet him in battle.
