11 Vissa av er levde tidigare på det sättet, men har nu tvättats rena, helgats och gjorts rättfärdiga i Herren Jesus Kristus namn och i vår Guds Ande.
Tänk på att Guds Ande bor i er kropp
12 ”Allt är tillåtet för mig”, men allt är inte nyttigt.[a] ”Allt är tillåtet för mig”, men jag får inte låta någonting ta makten över mig. 13 ”Maten är till för magen och magen för maten”.[b] Men Gud ska göra slut på både mat och mage. Däremot är kroppen inte till för sexuell omoral. Den är till för Herren, och Herren för kroppen.[c]

11 And that is what some of you were.(A) But you were washed,(B) you were sanctified,(C) you were justified(D) in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
Sexual Immorality
12 “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial.(E) “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything. 13 You say, “Food for the stomach and the stomach for food, and God will destroy them both.”(F) The body, however, is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord,(G) and the Lord for the body.
