1 Kings 8:10-13

10 And it happened that when the priests came from the holy place, (A)the cloud filled the house of the Lord, 11 so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.
Solomon Addresses the People
12 (B)Then Solomon said,
“The Lord has said that (C)He would dwell in the thick darkness.
13 (D)I have truly built You a lofty house,
(E)A place for Your dwelling forever.”

13 in unison when the trumpeters and the singers were to make themselves heard with one voice to praise and to glorify the Lord, and when they raised their voices (A)accompanied by trumpets, cymbals, and other musical instruments, and when they praised the Lord saying, “(B)He indeed is good for His [a]kindness is everlasting,” then the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, 14 so that the priests could not rise to minister because of the cloud, for (C)the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.
Solomon’s Dedication of the Temple
6 (D)Then Solomon said,
“The Lord has said that He would dwell in the thick darkness.
2 I have built You a lofty house,
And a place for Your dwelling forever.”
