1 Kings 6:8-10

8 The entrance to the middle story was on the south side of the house; stairs led up to the middle story and from the middle story to the third. 9 When he had finished building the house, it was roofed in with rafters and boards of cedar. 10 He built the substructure five cubits high all along the outside of the house, to which it was joined by cedar beams.

New International Version
8 The entrance to the lowest[a] floor was on the south side of the temple; a stairway led up to the middle level and from there to the third. 9 So he built the temple and completed it, roofing it with beams and cedar(A) planks. 10 And he built the side rooms all along the temple. The height of each was five cubits, and they were attached to the temple by beams of cedar.
