1 Kings 3:8-10
Common English Bible
8 But I’m here, your servant, in the middle of the people you have chosen, a large population that can’t be numbered or counted due to its vast size. 9 Please give your servant a discerning mind in order to govern your people and to distinguish good from evil, because no one is able to govern this important people of yours without your help.”
10 It pleased the Lord that Solomon had made this request.

8 Your servant is here among the people you have chosen,(A) a great people, too numerous to count or number.(B) 9 So give your servant a discerning(C) heart to govern your people and to distinguish(D) between right and wrong. For who is able(E) to govern this great people of yours?”
10 The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this.
