28 Baasa lo mató en el tercer año de Asa, rey de Judá, y reinó en su lugar. 29 Y en cuanto fue rey, Baasa hirió a toda la casa de Jeroboam. No dejó con vida a ninguno de los de Jeroboam, hasta destruirlos, conforme a la palabra que el Señor(A) había hablado por medio de Su siervo Ahías el silonita, 30 por los pecados que Jeroboam había cometido, y con los cuales había hecho pecar a Israel(B), y por la provocación con que provocó a ira al Señor, Dios de Israel.

28 Baasha killed him in the third year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in his place. 29 And it was so, when he became king, that he killed all the house of Jeroboam. He did not leave to Jeroboam anyone that breathed, until he had destroyed him, according to (A)the word of the Lord which He had spoken by His servant Ahijah the Shilonite, 30 (B)because of the sins of Jeroboam, which he had sinned and by which he had made Israel sin, because of his provocation with which he had provoked the Lord God of Israel to anger.

New International Version
28 Baasha killed Nadab in the third year of Asa king of Judah and succeeded him as king.
29 As soon as he began to reign, he killed Jeroboam’s whole family.(A) He did not leave Jeroboam anyone that breathed, but destroyed them all, according to the word of the Lord given through his servant Ahijah the Shilonite. 30 This happened because of the sins(B) Jeroboam had committed and had caused(C) Israel to commit, and because he aroused the anger of the Lord, the God of Israel.
