²² Judah^(A) did evil in the eyes of the Lord. By the sins they committed they stirred up his jealous anger^(B) more than those who were before them had done.

²² Are we trying to arouse the Lord’s jealousy?^(A) Are we stronger than he?^(B)

¹⁴ He did evil because he had not set his heart on seeking the Lord.

¹⁹ and even Judah did not keep the commands of the Lord their God. They followed the practices Israel had introduced.^(A)

³⁰ Ahab son of Omri did more^(A) evil in the eyes of the Lord than any of those before him.
