9 And Adonijah sacrificed sheep and oxen and fattened cattle by the stone of [a]Zoheleth, which is by (A)En Rogel;[b] he also invited all his brothers, the king’s sons, and all the men of Judah, the king’s servants. 10 But he did not invite Nathan the prophet, Benaiah, the mighty men, or (B)Solomon his brother.
11 So Nathan spoke to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, “Have you not heard that Adonijah the son of (C)Haggith has become king, and David our lord does not know it?

9 Adonijah then sacrificed sheep, cattle and fattened calves at the Stone of Zoheleth near En Rogel.(A) He invited all his brothers, the king’s sons,(B) and all the royal officials of Judah, 10 but he did not invite(C) Nathan the prophet or Benaiah or the special guard or his brother Solomon.(D)
11 Then Nathan asked Bathsheba,(E) Solomon’s mother, “Have you not heard that Adonijah,(F) the son of Haggith, has become king, and our lord David knows nothing about it?
