9 Adonijah sacrificed sheep, oxen, and fattened cattle near the stone of Zoheleth, which is next to En-rogel.(A) He invited all his royal brothers and all the men of Judah, the servants of the king,(B) 10 but he did not invite Nathan the prophet, Benaiah, the warriors, or his brother Solomon.(C)

9 Adonijah then sacrificed sheep, cattle and fattened calves at the Stone of Zoheleth near En Rogel.(A) He invited all his brothers, the king’s sons,(B) and all the royal officials of Judah, 10 but he did not invite(C) Nathan the prophet or Benaiah or the special guard or his brother Solomon.(D)
11 Then Nathan asked Bathsheba,(E) Solomon’s mother, “Have you not heard that Adonijah,(F) the son of Haggith, has become king, and our lord David knows nothing about it?
