1 Kings 1:47-49
New International Version
47 Also, the royal officials have come to congratulate our lord King David, saying, ‘May your God make Solomon’s name more famous than yours and his throne greater(A) than yours!’ And the king bowed in worship on his bed 48 and said, ‘Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who has allowed my eyes to see a successor(B) on my throne today.’”
49 At this, all Adonijah’s guests rose in alarm and dispersed.

47 Moreover, the king's servants came to congratulate our lord King David, saying, (A)‘May your God make the name of Solomon more famous than yours, and make his throne greater than your throne.’ And the king (B)bowed himself on the bed. 48 And the king also said, ‘Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, (C)who has granted someone[a] to sit on my throne this day, my own eyes seeing it.’”
49 Then all the guests of Adonijah trembled and rose, and each went his own way.

48 And also thus said the king, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, which hath given one to sit on my throne this day, mine eyes even seeing it.
49 And all the guests that were with Adonijah were afraid, and rose up, and went every man his way.
