45 So Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king at Gihon; and they have gone up from there rejoicing, so that the city is in an uproar. This is the noise that you have heard. 46 Also Solomon (A)sits on the throne of the kingdom. 47 And moreover the king’s servants have gone to bless our lord King David, saying, (B)‘May God make the name of Solomon better than your name, and may He make his throne greater than your throne.’ (C)Then the king bowed himself on the bed.

That’s the noise you hear. 46 Moreover, Solomon has taken his seat(B) on the royal throne. 47 Also, the royal officials have come to congratulate our lord King David, saying, ‘May your God make Solomon’s name more famous than yours and his throne greater(C) than yours!’ And the king bowed in worship on his bed

46 And also Solomon sitteth on the throne of the kingdom.
47 And moreover the king's servants came to bless our lord king David, saying, God make the name of Solomon better than thy name, and make his throne greater than thy throne. And the king bowed himself upon the bed.
