45 The priest Zadok and the prophet Nathan have anointed him king in Gihon.(A) They have gone up from there rejoicing. The town has been in an uproar; that’s the noise you heard. 46 Solomon has even taken his seat on the royal throne.(B)
47 “The king’s servants have also gone to congratulate our lord King David, saying, ‘May your God make the name of Solomon more well known than your name, and may he make his throne greater than your throne.’(C) Then the king bowed in worship on his bed.(D)

45 So Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king at Gihon; and they have gone up from there rejoicing, so that the city is in an uproar. This is the noise that you have heard. 46 Also Solomon (A)sits on the throne of the kingdom. 47 And moreover the king’s servants have gone to bless our lord King David, saying, (B)‘May God make the name of Solomon better than your name, and may He make his throne greater than your throne.’ (C)Then the king bowed himself on the bed.

45 and Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king at Gihon. From there they have gone up cheering, and the city resounds(A) with it. That’s the noise you hear. 46 Moreover, Solomon has taken his seat(B) on the royal throne. 47 Also, the royal officials have come to congratulate our lord King David, saying, ‘May your God make Solomon’s name more famous than yours and his throne greater(C) than yours!’ And the king bowed in worship on his bed
