1 Kings 1:33-35

33 The king said to them, “Take my servants(A) with you, have my son Solomon ride on my own mule,(B) and take him down to Gihon.(C) 34 There, Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet are to anoint him as king over Israel.(D) You are to blow the ram’s horn(E) and say, ‘Long live King Solomon!’(F) 35 You are to come up after him, and he is to come in and sit on my throne. He is the one who is to become king in my place; he is the one I have commanded to be ruler(G) over Israel and Judah.”(H)

33 he said to them: “Take your lord’s servants with you and have Solomon my son mount my own mule(A) and take him down to Gihon.(B) 34 There have Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint(C) him king over Israel. Blow the trumpet(D) and shout, ‘Long live King Solomon!’ 35 Then you are to go up with him, and he is to come and sit on my throne and reign in my place. I have appointed him ruler over Israel and Judah.”
