^13 (A)He shall build a house for My name, and I will ^(B)establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

²⁴ For ^(A)Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are ^[a]copies of ^(B)the true, but into heaven itself, now ^(C)to appear in the presence of God for us;

The Heavenly Sanctuary

¹¹ But Christ came as High Priest of ^(A)the good things ^[a]to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. ¹² Not ^(B)with the blood of goats and calves, but ^(C)with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place ^(D)once for all, ^(E)having obtained eternal redemption.

⁵ who serve ^(A)the copy and ^(B)shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, ^(C)“See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” ⁶ But now ^(D)He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a ^(E)better covenant, which was established on better promises.

A New Covenant^(F)

⁷ For if that ^(G)first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second. ⁸ Because finding fault with them, He says: ^(H)“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— ⁹ not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the Lord. ¹⁰ For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the ^(I)Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and ^(J)I will be their God, and they shall be My people. ^11 (K)None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the ^(L)Lord,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. ¹² For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, ^(M)and their sins ^[a]and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

^13 (N)In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

^14 (A)for we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs which Moses delivered to us.”

²¹ Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming ^(A)when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. ²² You worship ^(B)what you do not know; we know what we worship, for ^(C)salvation is of the Jews. ²³ But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will ^(D)worship the Father in ^(E)spirit ^(F)and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
