⁷ Then he made a hall for the throne, the Hall of Judgment, where he might judge; and it was paneled with cedar from floor to ^[a]ceiling.

²⁸ And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had rendered; and they feared the king, for they saw that the ^(A)wisdom of God was in him to administer justice.

^18 (A)Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold. ¹⁹ The throne had six steps, and the top of the throne was round at the back; there were armrests on either side of the place of the seat, and two lions stood beside the armrests. ²⁰ Twelve lions stood there, one on each side of the six steps; nothing like this had been made for any other kingdom.

¹⁵ And he built the inside walls of the temple with cedar boards; from the floor of the temple to the ceiling he paneled the inside with wood; and he covered the floor of the temple with planks of cypress. ¹⁶ Then he built the twenty-cubit room at the rear of the temple, from floor to ceiling, with cedar boards; he built it inside as the inner sanctuary, as the ^(A)Most Holy Place.

³ The vestibule in front of the ^[a]sanctuary of the house was ^[b]twenty cubits long across the width of the house, and the width of ^[c]the vestibule extended ^[d]ten cubits from the front of the house.

^9 (A)Therefore give to Your servant an ^[a]understanding heart ^(B)to judge Your people, that I may ^(C)discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?”
