He also made ten basins in which to wash and set five on the right side and five on the left. In these they were to rinse what was used for the burnt offering. The sea was for the priests to wash in.(A)

19 So Solomon made all the things that were in the house of God: the golden altar, the tables for the bread of the Presence,(M) 20 the lampstands and their lamps of pure gold to burn before the inner sanctuary, as prescribed;(N) 21 the flowers, the lamps, and the tongs, of purest gold; 22 the snuffers, basins, ladles, and firepans, of pure gold. As for the entrance to the temple: the inner doors to the most holy place and the doors of the main hall of the temple were of gold.

The Bronze Basin

17 The Lord spoke to Moses, 18 “You shall make a bronze basin with a bronze stand for washing. You shall put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it;(A) 19 with the water[a] Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet.(B) 20 When they go into the tent of meeting or when they come near the altar to minister to make an offering by fire[b] to the Lord, they shall wash with water, so that they may not die. 21 They shall wash their hands and their feet, so that they may not die: it shall be a perpetual ordinance for them, for him and for his descendants throughout their generations.”(C)
