²⁵ The Sea stood on twelve bulls,^(A) three facing north, three facing west, three facing south and three facing east. The Sea rested on top of them, and their hindquarters were toward the center.

²⁰ The bronze from the two pillars, the Sea and the twelve bronze bulls^(A) under it, and the movable stands, which King Solomon had made for the temple of the Lord, was more than could be weighed.^(B)

⁴ The Sea stood on twelve bulls, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south and three facing east.^(A) The Sea rested on top of them, and their hindquarters were toward the center. ⁵ It was a handbreadth^[a] in thickness, and its rim was like the rim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It held three thousand baths.^[b]

⁶ Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass,^(A) clear as crystal.

In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures,^(B) and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.^{(C) 7} The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle.^(D)

⁹ For it is written in the Law of Moses: “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.”^[a](A) Is it about oxen that God is concerned?^(B)

⁴⁷ and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name^(A) to all nations,^(B) beginning at Jerusalem.^(C)

¹⁵ He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.^{(A) 16} Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.^(B)

¹⁹ Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,^(A) baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,^(B)

¹⁰ Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a human being, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle.^(A)
