³¹ For the entrance to the inner sanctuary, he made double doors of wild olive wood with five-sided doorposts.^[a]

A Call to Persevere

¹⁹ And so, dear brothers and sisters,^[a] we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. ²⁰ By his death,^[b] Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place.

¹⁸ And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.

⁶ Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

⁹ Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved.^[a] They will come and go freely and will find good pastures.
