⁹ So the king of Israel called one of his officials and said, “Bring Micaiah son of Imlah at once.”

¹⁸ At the end of the time^(A) set by the king to bring them into his service, the chief official presented them to Nebuchadnezzar.

⁷ And some of your descendants, your own flesh and blood who will be born to you, will be taken away, and they will become eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.^(A)”

⁸ So the king of Israel called one of his officials and said, “Bring Micaiah son of Imlah at once.”

³² He looked up at the window and called out, “Who is on my side? Who?” Two or three eunuchs looked down at him.

²⁶ The king of Israel then ordered, “Take Micaiah and send him back to Amon the ruler of the city and to Joash the king’s son ²⁷ and say, ‘This is what the king says: Put this fellow in prison^(A) and give him nothing but bread and water until I return safely.’”
