¹³ He also removed his mother Maacah from being queen mother, because she had made an abominable image for Asherah; Asa cut down her image and burned it at the Wadi Kidron.^(A)

³² “You shall rise before the aged and defer to the old, and you shall fear your God: I am the Lord.

³ You shall each revere your mother and father, and you shall keep my Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.^(A)

¹² “Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.^(A)

³³ and he will put the sheep at his right hand and the goats at the left.
