³² Then with the stones he built an altar ^(A)in the name of the Lord; and he made a trench around the altar large enough to hold two seahs of seed.

¹⁷ And ^(A)whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

^31 (A)Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

¹⁷ But ^(A)he always returned to Ramah, for his home was there. There he judged Israel, and there he ^(B)built an altar to the Lord.

⁹ And Samuel took a ^(A)suckling lamb and offered it as a whole burnt offering to the Lord. Then ^(B)Samuel cried out to the Lord for Israel, and the Lord answered him.

⁴ So it was, on the next morning, that the people rose early and ^(A)built an altar there, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.

²⁶ and build an altar to the Lord your God on top of this ^[a]rock in the proper arrangement, and take the second bull and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the image which you shall cut down.”

²⁴ An altar of ^(A)earth you shall make for Me, and you shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, ^(B)your sheep and your oxen. In every ^(C)place where I ^[a]record My name I will come to you, and I will ^(D)bless you. ²⁵ And ^(E)if you make Me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stone; for if you ^(F)use your tool on it, you have profaned it.
