⁶ So Baasha ^[a]rested with his fathers and was buried in ^(A)Tirzah. Then Elah his son reigned in his place.

¹⁷ Then Jeroboam’s wife arose and departed, and came to ^(A)Tirzah. ^(B)When she came to the threshold of the house, the child died.

²¹ Now it happened, when Baasha heard it, that he stopped building Ramah, and remained in ^(A)Tirzah.

¹³ for all the sins of Baasha and the sins of Elah his son, by which they had sinned and by which they had made Israel sin, in provoking the Lord God of Israel to anger ^(A)with their ^[a]idols.

¹⁴ Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

Elah Reigns in Israel

⁸ In the twenty-sixth year of Asa king of Judah, Elah the son of Baasha became king over Israel, and reigned two years in Tirzah.

Nadab Reigns in Israel

²⁵ Now ^(A)Nadab the son of Jeroboam became king over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Judah, and he reigned over Israel two years.

²⁰ The period that Jeroboam reigned was twenty-two years. So he rested with his fathers. Then ^(A)Nadab his son reigned in his place.
