¹¹ Moreover, the fleet of Hiram, which carried gold from Ophir, brought from Ophir a great quantity of almug wood and precious stones.^(A)

²⁷ Hiram sent his servants with the fleet, sailors who were familiar with the sea, together with the servants of Solomon.^{(A) 28} They went to Ophir and imported from there four hundred twenty talents of gold that they delivered to King Solomon.^(B)

¹⁰ Moreover, the servants of Huram and the servants of Solomon who brought gold from Ophir brought algum wood and precious stones.^{(A) 11} From the algum wood, the king made steps^[a] for the house of the Lord and for the king’s house, lyres also and harps for the singers; there never was seen the like of them before in the land of Judah.
