¹⁷ Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear ^(A)God. Honor the king.

^7 (A)Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.

¹⁶ And Bathsheba bowed and did homage to the king. Then the king said, “What is your wish?”
