1 Les escribimos acerca de lo que siempre ha existido.
Lo hemos oído, lo hemos visto
con nuestros propios ojos,
lo hemos observado y lo hemos tocado
con nuestras propias manos.
Hablamos de Aquel que es la Palabra[a] que da vida.
2 El que es la vida apareció entre nosotros. Lo vimos y por eso damos testimonio acerca de él. A ustedes les anunciamos que él es la vida eterna que estaba con el Padre. Lo que hemos visto y oído acerca de él, ahora le anunciamos a ustedes.
