⁸ the one who practices sin is ^(A)of the devil; for the devil ^[a]has been sinning from the beginning. ^(B)The Son of God ^(C)appeared for this purpose, ^(D)to destroy the works of the devil.

^21 (A)The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and ^(B)the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will ^(C)reveal Myself to him.” ^22 (D)Judas (not Iscariot) *said to Him, “Lord, what has happened ^(E)that You are going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?” ²³ Jesus answered and said to him, “^(F)If anyone loves Me, he will ^(G)follow My word; and ^(H)My Father will love him, and We ^(I)will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.

¹⁵ But when ^[a]He who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and ^(A)called me through His grace was pleased ¹⁶ to reveal His Son in me so that I might ^(B)preach Him among the Gentiles, ^(C)I did not immediately consult with ^[b](D)flesh and blood,

²⁰ Although the Lord has given you ^(A)bread of deprivation and water of oppression, He, your Teacher, will no longer ^(B)hide Himself, but your eyes will see your Teacher.

¹³ Therefore, ^[a](A)prepare your minds for action, ^[b](B)keep sober in spirit, set your ^(C)hope completely on the ^(D)grace to be brought to you at ^(E)the revelation of Jesus Christ.

¹³ but to the degree that you ^(A)share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that at the ^(B)revelation of His glory ^(C)you may also rejoice and be overjoyed.

^10 (A)always carrying around in the body the dying of Jesus, so that ^(B)the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. ¹¹ For we who live are constantly being handed over to death because of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our mortal flesh.

^22 (A)All things have been handed over to Me by My Father, and ^(B)no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son determines to reveal Him.”

³⁰ It will be ^[a]just the same on the day that the Son of Man ^(A)is revealed.
