1 John 2:2-6

² and He Himself is ^(A)the ^[a]propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also ^(B)for the sins of the whole world.

^3 (C)By this we know that we have come to ^(D)know Him, if we ^(E)keep His commandments. ⁴ The one who says, “^(F)I have come to ^(G)know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a ^(H)liar, and ^(I)the truth is not in him; ⁵ but whoever ^(J)follows His word, in him the ^(K)love of God has truly been perfected. ^(L)By this we know that we are in Him: ⁶ the one who says that he ^(M)remains in Him ^(N)ought, himself also, walk just as He walked.
