(A)We write to you about the Word of life, which has existed from the very beginning. We have heard it, and we have seen it with our eyes; yes, we have seen it, and our hands have touched it. (B)When this life became visible, we saw it; so we speak of it and tell you about the eternal life which was with the Father and was made known to us.

We declare to you what was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have looked at and touched with our hands, concerning the word of life(A) this life was revealed, and we have seen it and testify to it and declare to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us(B)
