^12 (A)Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

^36 (A)Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; ^(B)whoever does not obey the Son shall not ^(C)see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

²⁴ Truly, truly, I say to you, ^(A)whoever hears my word and ^(B)believes him who sent me has eternal life. He ^(C)does not come into judgment, but ^(D)has passed from death to life.

¹⁵ that whoever believes ^(A)in him ^(B)may have eternal life.^[a]

³⁰ And because of him^[a] you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us ^(A)wisdom from God, ^(B)righteousness and ^(C)sanctification and ^(D)redemption,

¹² But to all who did receive him, ^(A)who believed in his name, ^(B)he gave the right ^(C)to become ^(D)children of God,

^16 (A)Whoever believes and is ^(B)baptized ^(C)will be saved, but ^(D)whoever ^(E)does not believe will be condemned.

⁹ Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, ^(A)does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching ^(B)has both the Father and the Son.

^23 (A)No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also. ²⁴ Let ^(B)what you heard from the beginning abide in you. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then ^(C)you too will abide in the Son and in the Father.
