²³ No one who denies the Son has the Father; everyone who confesses the Son has the Father also.^(A)

¹⁵ God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.^(A)

¹⁹ Then they said to him, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.”^(A)

³⁰ The Father and I are one.”

²³ so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.^(A)

⁹ Everyone who does not abide in the teaching of Christ, but goes beyond it,^[a] does not have God; whoever abides in the teaching^[b] has both the Father and the Son.^{(A) 10} If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive and welcome this person into your house,^{(B) 11} for to welcome is to participate in the evil deeds of such a person.^(C)

²³ Whoever hates me hates my Father also.^{(A) 24} If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not have sin. But now they have seen and hated both me and my Father.^(B)

Faith Conquers the World

5 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ^[a] has been born of God, and everyone who loves the parent loves the child.^(A)

⁹ Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and you still do not know me? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?^{(A) 10} Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.^(B)

²² All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”^(A)
