24 Iată cetele fiilor lui Aaron. Fiii(A) lui Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar şi Itamar. 2 Nadab(B) şi Abihu au murit înaintea tatălui lor, fără să aibă fii, şi Eleazar şi Itamar au împlinit slujba de preoţi. 3 David a împărţit pe fiii lui Aaron, rânduindu-i după slujba pe care o aveau s-o facă; Ţadoc făcea parte din urmaşii lui Eleazar şi Ahimelec, din urmaşii lui Itamar.

The Divisions of Priests
24 These were the divisions(A) of the descendants of Aaron:(B)
The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.(C) 2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father did,(D) and they had no sons; so Eleazar and Ithamar served as the priests. 3 With the help of Zadok(E) a descendant of Eleazar and Ahimelek a descendant of Ithamar, David separated them into divisions for their appointed order of ministering.
