Descendientes de Benjamín

Benjamín tuvo cinco hijos. El mayor fue Bela; el segundo, Asbel; el tercero, Ajará; el cuarto, Noja; y el quinto, Rafá.

Los hijos de Bela fueron Adar, Guerá, Abiud, Abisúa, Naamán, Ajoaj, Guerá, Sefufán e Hiram.

Estos fueron los hijos de Aod, jefes de familia que habitaban en Gueba y luego fueron obligados a vivir en Manajat: Naamán, Ahías y Guerá, el papá de Uza y Ajiud, quien fue el que los obligó a irse a Manajat.

14 Los hermanos de Beriá y Semá fueron Ajío, Sasac y Jeremot. 15 Zebadías, Arad, Ader, 16 Micael, Ispá y Yojá fueron los hijos de Beriá.

17 Zebadías, Mesulán, Hizqui, Éber, 18 Ismeray, Jezlías y Jobab fueron los hijos de Elpal.

19 Yaquín, Zicrí, Zabdí, 20 Elienay, Ziletay, Eliel, 21 Adaías, Beraías y Simrat fueron los hijos de Simí.

22 Ispán, Éber, Eliel, 23 Abdón, Zicrí, Janán, 24 Jananías, Elam, Anatotías, 25 Ifdaías y Peniel fueron los hijos de Sasac.

26 Samseray, Seharías, Atalías, 27 Jaresías, Elías y Zicrí fueron los hijos de Jeroán.

29 Jehiel fundó en Gabaón y allí vivió. Su esposa se llamaba Macá. 30 Su hijo mayor fue Abdón, y luego tuvieron a Zur, Quis, Baal, Ner, Nadab, 31 Guedor, Ajío, Zéquer 32 y Miclot, el papá de Simá. Ellos vivían cerca de sus hermanos en Jerusalén.

33 Ner fue el papá de Quis. Quis fue el papá de Saúl. Saúl fue el papá de Jonatán, Malquisúa, Abinadab y Esbaal.

34 El hijo de Jonatán fue Meribaal. Meribaal fue el papá de Micaías.

35 Los hijos de Micaías fueron Pitón, Mélec, Tarea y Acaz.

36 Acaz fue el papá de Joada; Joada fue el papá de Alemet, Azmávet y Zimri; Zimri fue el papá de Mosá; 37 Mosá fue el papá de Biná; Biná fue el papá de Rafá; Rafá fue el papá de Elasá, y Elasá fue el papá de Azel.

38 Azel tuvo seis hijos que se llamaban Azricán, Bocrú, Ismael, Searías, Abdías y Janán.

39 Azel era hermano de Ésec. El hijo mayor de Ésec fue Ulán; el segundo, Jeús; y el tercero, Elifelet.

40 Los hijos de Ulán fueron guerreros valientes y muy hábiles en el uso del arco y la flecha. Tuvieron muchos hijos y nietos, en total 150.

Gera, Shephuphan, and Churam.

And these are the Bnei Echud: these are the rashei avot of the inhabitants of Geva, and they drove them out to Manachat;

And Na’aman, and Achiyah, and Gera drove them out, and fathered Uzza, and Achichud.

And Shacharayim fathered banim in the country of Moav, after he had sent them away: Chushim and Ba’ara were his nashim.

And he fathered of Chodesh his isha, Yovav, Tzivya, Mesha, and Malkam,

10 And Yeutz, Sochya, Mirmah. These were his banim, rashei avot.

11 And of Chushim he fathered Avituv, and Elpa’al.

12 The Bnei Elpaal: Ever, Misham, Shemed, who built Ono, and Lod, with the villages thereof;

13 Beriah also, and Shema, who were rashei avot of the inhabitants of Ayalon, who drove away the inhabitants of Gat;

14 And Achyo, Shashak, and Yeremot,

15 Zevadyah, Arad, Eder,

16 Micha’el, Yishpah, and Yocha, the Bnei Beri’ah;

17 And Zevadyah, and Meshullam, and Chizki, and Chever,

18 Yishmerai also, and Yizli’ah, and Yovav, the Bnei Elpa’al;

19 Yakim, Zichri, Zavdi,

20 Elienai, Tziltai, Eli’el,

21 Adayah, Berayah, and Shimrat, the Bnei Shimei;

22 Yishpan, Ever, Eli’el,

23 Avdon, Zichri, Chanan,

24 Chananyah, Eilam, and Antotyah,

25 Yiphdeyah, and Penuel, the Bnei Shashak;

26 And Shamsherai, and Shecharyah, and Atalyah,

27 And Ya’areshyah, and Eliyah, and Zichri, the Bnei Yerocham.

28 These were rashei avot, by their toldot, leaders. These dwelt in Yerushalayim.

29 And at Giveon dwelt avi Giveon, shem of his isha: Ma’achah;

30 And his bechor was Avdon, and Tzur, and Kish, and Ba’al, and Nadav,

31 And Gedor, and Achyo, and Zecher.

32 And Miklot fathered Shime’ah. And these also dwelt near their achim in Yerushalayim with their achim.

33 And Ner fathered Kish, and Kish fathered Sha’ul, and Sha’ul fathered Yonatan, and Malki-Shua, and Avinadav, and Eshba’al.

34 And the Ben Yonatan was Meriv Ba’al; and Meriv Ba’al fathered Michah.

35 And the Bnei Michah were Piton, and Melech, and Tarea, and Achaz.

36 And Achaz fathered Yehoadah; and Yehoadah fathered Alemet, Azmavet, and Zimri; and Zimri fathered Motza,

37 And Motza fathered Binea; Rapha bno, Eleasah bno, Atzel bno.

38 And Atzel had six banim, whose shmot are these: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Yishma’el, and She’aryah, and Ovadyah, and Chanan. All these were the Bnei Atzel.

39 And the Bnei Eshek his brother were Ulam his bechor, Ye’ush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

40 And the Bnei Ulam were anashim gibbrei chayil, archers, and had many banim, and bnei banim, a hundred and fifty. All these are of the Bnei Binyamin.

Now Benjamin begot (B)Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, [a]Aharah the third, Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth. The sons of Bela were [b]Addar, Gera, Abihud, Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah, Gera, [c]Shephuphan, and Huram.

These are the sons of Ehud, who were the heads of the fathers’ houses of the inhabitants of (C)Geba, and who forced them to move to (D)Manahath: Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera who forced them to move. He begot Uzza and Ahihud.

Also Shaharaim had children in the country of Moab, after he had sent away Hushim and Baara his wives. By Hodesh his wife he begot Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malcam, 10 Jeuz, Sachiah, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of their fathers’ houses.

11 And by Hushim he begot Abitub and Elpaal. 12 The sons of Elpaal were Eber, Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod with its towns; 13 and Beriah and (E)Shema, who were heads of their fathers’ houses of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who drove out the inhabitants of Gath. 14 Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth, 15 Zebadiah, Arad, Eder, 16 Michael, Ispah, and Joha were the sons of Beriah. 17 Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber, 18 Ishmerai, Jizliah, and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal. 19 Jakim, Zichri, Zabdi, 20 Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel, 21 Adaiah, Beraiah, and Shimrath were the sons of [d]Shimei. 22 Ishpan, Eber, Eliel, 23 Abdon, Zichri, Hanan, 24 Hananiah, Elam, Antothijah, 25 Iphdeiah, and Penuel were the sons of Shashak. 26 Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah, 27 Jaareshiah, Elijah, and Zichri were the sons of Jeroham.

28 These were heads of the fathers’ houses by their generations, chief men. These dwelt in Jerusalem.

29 Now [e]the father of Gibeon, whose (F)wife’s name was Maacah, dwelt at Gibeon. 30 And his firstborn son was Abdon, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Nadab, 31 Gedor, Ahio, [f]Zecher, 32 and Mikloth, who begot [g]Shimeah. They also dwelt [h]alongside their [i]relatives in Jerusalem, with their brethren. 33 (G)Ner[j] begot Kish, Kish begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, Malchishua, [k]Abinadab, and [l]Esh-Baal. 34 The son of Jonathan was [m]Merib-Baal, and Merib-Baal begot (H)Micah. 35 The sons of Micah were Pithon, Melech, [n]Tarea, and Ahaz. 36 And Ahaz begot [o]Jehoaddah; Jehoaddah begot Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza. 37 Moza begot Binea, [p]Raphah his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.

38 Azel had six sons whose names were these: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel. 39 And the sons of Eshek his brother were Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

40 The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor—archers. They had many sons and grandsons, one hundred and fifty in all. These were all sons of Benjamin.

The Genealogy of Saul the Benjamite(A)

Benjamin(B) was the father of Bela his firstborn,

Ashbel the second son, Aharah the third,

Nohah the fourth and Rapha the fifth.

The sons of Bela were:

Addar,(C) Gera, Abihud,[a] Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,(D) Gera, Shephuphan and Huram.

These were the descendants of Ehud,(E) who were heads of families of those living in Geba and were deported to Manahath:

Naaman, Ahijah, and Gera, who deported them and who was the father of Uzza and Ahihud.

Sons were born to Shaharaim in Moab after he had divorced his wives Hushim and Baara. By his wife Hodesh he had Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malkam, 10 Jeuz, Sakia and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of families. 11 By Hushim he had Abitub and Elpaal.

12 The sons of Elpaal:

Eber, Misham, Shemed (who built Ono(F) and Lod with its surrounding villages), 13 and Beriah and Shema, who were heads of families of those living in Aijalon(G) and who drove out the inhabitants of Gath.(H)

14 Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth, 15 Zebadiah, Arad, Eder, 16 Michael, Ishpah and Joha were the sons of Beriah.

17 Zebadiah, Meshullam, Hizki, Heber, 18 Ishmerai, Izliah and Jobab were the sons of Elpaal.

19 Jakim, Zikri, Zabdi, 20 Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel, 21 Adaiah, Beraiah and Shimrath were the sons of Shimei.

22 Ishpan, Eber, Eliel, 23 Abdon, Zikri, Hanan, 24 Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah, 25 Iphdeiah and Penuel were the sons of Shashak.

26 Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah, 27 Jaareshiah, Elijah and Zikri were the sons of Jeroham.

28 All these were heads of families, chiefs as listed in their genealogy, and they lived in Jerusalem.

29 Jeiel[b] the father[c] of Gibeon lived in Gibeon.(I)

His wife’s name was Maakah, 30 and his firstborn son was Abdon, followed by Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner,[d] Nadab, 31 Gedor, Ahio, Zeker 32 and Mikloth, who was the father of Shimeah. They too lived near their relatives in Jerusalem.

33 Ner(J) was the father of Kish,(K) Kish the father of Saul(L), and Saul the father of Jonathan, Malki-Shua, Abinadab and Esh-Baal.[e](M)

34 The son of Jonathan:(N)

Merib-Baal,[f](O) who was the father of Micah.

35 The sons of Micah:

Pithon, Melek, Tarea and Ahaz.

36 Ahaz was the father of Jehoaddah, Jehoaddah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri, and Zimri was the father of Moza. 37 Moza was the father of Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son and Azel his son.

38 Azel had six sons, and these were their names:

Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.

39 The sons of his brother Eshek:

Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second son and Eliphelet the third. 40 The sons of Ulam were brave warriors who could handle the bow. They had many sons and grandsons—150 in all.

All these were the descendants of Benjamin.(P)
