5 (B)Los hijos de Jafet fueron Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javán, Tubal, Mesec y Tiras. 6 Los hijos de Gomer fueron Askenaz, Difat y Togarmá. 7 Los hijos de Javán fueron Elisa, Tarsis, Quitim y Rodanim.

8 Los hijos de Cam fueron Cus, Mizrayim, Fut y Canaán. 9 Los hijos de Cus fueron Seba, Havila, Sabta, Raama y Sabteca; y los hijos de Raama fueron Seba y Dedán. 10 Cus fue el padre de Nimrod; este llegó a ser poderoso sobre la tierra. 11 (C)Y Mizrayim fue el padre del pueblo de Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Neftuhim, 12 Patrusim y Casluhim, de los cuales vinieron los filisteos, y Caftor.

Los hijos de Isaac fueron Esaú e Israel(I). 35 (J)Los hijos de Esaú fueron Elifaz, Reuel, Jeús, Jaalam y Coré. 36 Los hijos de Elifaz fueron Temán, Omar, Zefí, Gatam, Quenaz, Timna y Amalec. 37 Los hijos de Reuel fueron Nahat, Zera, Sama y Miza. 38 (K)Los hijos de Seir fueron Lotán, Sobal, Zibeón, Aná, Disón, Ezer y Disán. 39 Los hijos de Lotán fueron Hori y Homam, y la hermana de Lotán fue Timna. 40 Los hijos de Sobal fueron Alían, Manahat, Ebal, Sofi y Onam. Y los hijos de Zibeón fueron Aja y Aná. 41 El hijo de Aná fue Disón. Y los hijos de Disón fueron Amram, Esbán, Itrán y Querán. 42 Los hijos de Ezer fueron Bilhán, Zaaván y Jaacán. Los hijos de Disán fueron Uz y Arán.

43 (L)Estos son los reyes que reinaron en la tierra de Edom antes que reinara rey alguno de los israelitas. El nombre de su ciudad era Pai, y el nombre de su mujer era Mehetabel, hija de Matred, hija de Mezaab. 51 Hadad murió. Y los jefes de Edom fueron: el jefe Timna, el jefe Alya, el jefe Jetet, 52 el jefe Aholibama, el jefe Ela, el jefe Pinón, 53 el jefe Quenaz, el jefe Temán, el jefe Mibzar, 54 el jefe Magdiel, el jefe Iram. Estos fueron los jefes de Edom.

El hermano de Péleg se llamaba Joctán. 20 Joctán fue el padre de Almodad, Sélef, Hasar-mávet, Jérah, 21 Hadoram, Uzal, Diclá, 22 Obal, Abimael, Sebá, 23 Ofir, Havilá y Jobab. Todos estos fueron hijos de Joctán.

Descendientes de Sem(C)

24 Sem, Arfaxad, Sélah, 25 Éber, Péleg, Reú, 26 Serug, Nahor, Térah 27 y Abram, que es Abraham.

Descendientes de Ismael y de Queturá(D)

28 Hijos de Abraham: Isaac e Ismael. 29 Sus descendientes fueron: Nebaiot, hijo mayor de Ismael, Quedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, 30 Mismá, Dumá, Masá, Hadad, Temá, 31 Jetur, Nafís y Quedmá. Éstos fueron los hijos de Ismael.

32 Hijos de Queturá, concubina de Abraham: Zimrán, Jocsán, Medán, Madián, Isbac y Súah. Hijos de Jocsán: Sebá y Dedán. 33 Hijos de Madián: Efá, Éfer, Hanoc, Abidá y Eldaá. Todos estos fueron descendientes de Queturá.

Descendientes de Esaú(E)

34 Abraham fue el padre de Isaac. Hijos de Isaac: Esaú e Israel. 35 Hijos de Esaú: Elifaz, Reuel, Jeús, Jaalam y Coré. 36 Hijos de Elifaz: Temán, Omar, Sefó, Gatam y Quenaz; de Timná tuvo a Amalec. 37 Hijos de Reuel: Náhat, Zérah, Samá y Mizá.

38 Hijos de Seír: Lotán, Sobal, Sibón, Aná, Disón, Éser y Disán. 39 Hijos de Lotán: Horí y Hemam. Timná era hermana de Lotán. 40 Hijos de Sobal: Alván, Manáhat, Ebal, Sefó y Onam. Hijos de Sibón: Aiá y Aná. 41 Aná fue padre de Disón. Hijos de Disón: Hemdán, Esbán, Itrán y Querán. 42 Hijos de Éser: Bilhán, Zaaván y Jaacán. Hijos de Disán: Us y Arán.

5 (B)The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech and Tiras. 6 The sons of Gomer were Ashkenaz, [a]Diphath, and Togarmah. 7 The sons of Javan were Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim and [b]Rodanim.

8 The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan. 9 The sons of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabta, Raama and Sabteca; and the sons of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan. 10 Cush [c]became the father of Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

11 (C)Mizraim became the father of the people of Lud, Anam, Lehab, Naphtuh, 12 Pathrus, Casluh, from which the [d]Philistines came, and Caphtor.

13 Canaan became the father of Sidon, his firstborn, Heth, 14 and the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites, 15 the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites, 16 the Arvadites, the Zemarites and the Hamathites.

17 (D)The sons of Shem were Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Gether and [e]Meshech. 18 Arpachshad became the father of Shelah and Shelah became the father of Eber. 19 Two sons were born to Eber, the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided, and his brother’s name was Joktan. 20 Joktan became the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah, 21 Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah, 22 [f]Ebal, Abimael, Sheba, 23 Ophir, Havilah and Jobab; all these were the sons of Joktan.

Now the chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief [q]Aliah, chief Jetheth, 52 chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon, 53 chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar, 54 chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.

Now the tribal chiefs of Edom were chief Timna, chief [r]Aliah, chief Jetheth, 52 chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon, 53 chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar, 54 chief Magdiel, and chief Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
