16 Quanto poi alla colletta in favore dei fratelli, fate anche voi come ho ordinato alle Chiese della Galazia. 2 Ogni primo giorno della settimana ciascuno metta da parte ciò che gli è riuscito di risparmiare, perché non si facciano le collette proprio quando verrò io. 3 Quando poi giungerò, manderò con una mia lettera quelli che voi avrete scelto per portare il dono della vostra liberalità a Gerusalemme. 4 E se converrà che vada anch'io, essi partiranno con me.
5 Verrò da voi dopo aver attraversato la Macedonia, poiché la Macedonia intendo solo attraversarla; 6 ma forse mi fermerò da voi o anche passerò l'inverno, perché siate voi a predisporre il necessario per dove andrò. 7 Non voglio vedervi solo di passaggio, ma spero di trascorrere un pò di tempo con voi, se il Signore lo permetterà. 8 Mi fermerò tuttavia a Efeso fino a Pentecoste, 9 perché mi si è aperta una porta grande e propizia, anche se gli avversari sono molti. 10 Quando verrà Timòteo, fate che non si trovi in soggezione presso di voi, giacchè anche lui lavora come me per l'opera del Signore. 11 Nessuno dunque gli manchi di riguardo; al contrario, accomiatatelo in pace, perché ritorni presso di me: io lo aspetto con i fratelli. 12 Quanto poi al fratello Apollo, l'ho pregato vivamente di venire da voi con i fratelli, ma non ha voluto assolutamente saperne di partire ora; verrà tuttavia quando gli si presenterà l'occasione.
13 Vigilate, state saldi nella fede, comportatevi da uomini, siate forti. 14 Tutto si faccia tra voi nella carità. 15 Una raccomandazione ancora, o fratelli: conoscete la famiglia di Stefana, che è primizia dell'Acaia; hanno dedicato se stessi a servizio dei fedeli; 16 siate anche voi deferenti verso di loro e verso quanti collaborano e si affaticano con loro. 17 Io mi rallegro della visita di Stefana, di Fortunato e di Acàico, i quali hanno supplito alla vostra assenza; 18 essi hanno allietato il mio spirito e allieteranno anche il vostro. Sappiate apprezzare siffatte persone.
19 Le comunità dell'Asia vi salutano. Vi salutano molto nel Signore Aquila e Prisca, con la comunità che si raduna nella loro casa. 20 Vi salutano i fratelli tutti. Salutatevi a vicenda con il bacio santo.
21 Il saluto è di mia mano, di Paolo. 22 Se qualcuno non ama il Signore sia anàtema. Marana tha: vieni, o Signore! 23 La grazia del Signore Gesù sia con voi. 24 Il mio amore con tutti voi in Cristo Gesù!

16 وَأَمَّا بِخُصُوصِ جَمْعِ التَّبَرُّعَاتِ لِلْقِدِّيسِينَ، فَكَمَا أَوْصَيْتُ الْكَنَائِسَ فِي مُقَاطَعَةِ غَلاطِيَّةَ، كَذلِكَ اعْمَلُوا أَنْتُمْ أَيْضاً. 2 فَفِي أَوَّلِ يَوْمٍ مِنَ الأُسْبُوعِ، لِيَضَعْ كُلٌّ مِنْكُمْ جَانِباً مَّا يَتَيَسَّرُ لَهُ مِمَّا يَكْسِبُهُ؛ وَلْيَحْتَفِظْ بِهِ، حَتَّى لَا يَحْصُلَ الْجَمْعُ عِنْدَمَا أَذْهَبُ إِلَيْكُمْ. 3 وَعِنْدَ وُصُولِي، أَبْعَثُ مَنْ تَسْتَحْسِنُونَ لِيَحْمِلُوا مَا تَكَرَّمْتُمْ بِهِ إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ، بَعْدَ أَنْ أُزَوِّدَهُمْ بِرَسَائِلَ. 4 وَإِنْ كَانَ فِي الأَمْرِ مَا يَدْعُونِي إِلَى مُرَافَقَتِهِمْ، فَيَذْهَبُونَ مَعِي.

5 وَلَكِنِّي سَأَذْهَبُ إِلَيْكُمْ لَدَى اجْتِيَازِي فِي مُقَاطَعَةِ مَقِدُونِيَّةَ، لأَنِّي إِنَّمَا سَأَجْتَازُ فِيهَا، 6 وَرُبَّمَا أُقَضِّي عِنْدَكُمْ مُدَّةً مِنَ الزَّمَنِ، أَوْ رُبَّمَا أُقَضِّي الشِّتَاءَ كُلَّهُ عِنْدَكُمْ ثُمَّ تُسَهِّلُونَ لِي سَبِيلَ السَّفَرِ إِلَى أَيَّةِ جِهَةٍ أَذْهَبُ إِلَيْهَا. 7 فَأَنَا لَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَزُورَكُمْ كَعَابِرِ سَبِيلٍ هَذِهِ الْمَرَّةَ، بَلْ أَرْجُو أَنْ تَطُولَ إِقَامَتِي عِنْدَكُمْ إِنْ أَذِنَ الرَّبُّ. 8 عَلَى أَنِّي سَأَبْقَى فِي أَفَسُسَ حَتَّى الْيَوْمِ الْخَمْسِينَ (أَيْ عِيدِ الْحَصَادِ الْيَهُودِيِّ) 9 لأَنَّ بَاباً كَبِيراً وَفَعَّالاً قَدِ انْفَتَحَ لِي، وَالْمُقَاوِمُونَ كَثِيرُونَ!
10 وَإذَا وَصَلَ تِيمُوثَاوُسُ إِلَيْكُمْ، فَاهْتَمُّوا بِأَنْ يَكُونَ مُطْمَئِنّاً عِنْدَكُمْ، لأَنَّهُ يَقُومُ بِعَمَلِ الرَّبِّ مِثْلِي. 11 فَلا يَسْتَخِفّ بِهِ أَحَدٌ، بَلْ سَهِّلُوا لَهُ السَّبِيلَ لِيَعُودَ إِلَيَّ بِسَلامٍ، فَأَنَا أَنْتَظِرُ وُصُولَهُ، مَعَ الإِخْوَةِ. 12 أَمَّا الأَخُ أَبُلُّوسُ، فَكَثِيراً مَا طَلَبْتُ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ يُرَافِقَ الإِخْوَةَ فِي الذَّهَابِ إِلَيْكُمْ. وَلكِنْ، لَمْ تَكُنْ لَدَيْهِ رَغْبَةٌ قَطُّ فِي أَنْ يَذْهَبَ الآنَ. عَلَى أَنَّهُ سَيَذْهَبُ عِنْدَمَا تَتَوَفَّرُ لَهُ الْفُرْصَةُ الْمُنَاسِبَةُ.

13 كُونُوا مُتَيَقِّظِينَ حَذِرِينَ. اثْبُتُوا فِي الإِيمَانِ. كُونُوا رِجَالاً. كُونُوا أَقْوِيَاءَ. 14 وَكُلُّ مَا تَعْمَلُونَهُ، فَاعْمَلُوهُ فِي الْمَحَبَّةِ.
15 عَلَى أَنِّي، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَةُ، أَطْلُبُ إِلَيْكُمْ هَذَا الطَّلَبَ: أَنْتُمْ تَعْرِفُونَ عَائِلَةَ اسْتِفَانَاسَ، فَهُمْ بَاكُورَةُ أَخَائِيَةَ، وَقَدْ كَرَّسُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ لِخِدْمَةِ الْقِدِّيسِينَ، 16 فَاخْضَعُوا لَهُمْ وَلأَمْثَالِهِمْ، وَلِكُلِّ مَنْ يَشْتَرِكُ مَعَهُمْ بِاجْتِهَادٍ فِي الْعَمَلِ. 17 سُرِرْتُ كَثِيراً بِمَجِيءِ اسْتِفَانَاسَ وَفُرْتُونَاتُوسَ وَأَخَائِيكُوسَ. فَقَدْ نَابُوا عَنْكُمْ فِي سَدِّ الاحْتِيَاجِ. 18 إِذْ أَنْعَشُوا رُوحِي وَرُوحَكُمْ. فَقَدِّرُوا مِثْلَ هؤُلاءِ حَقَّ التَّقْدِيرِ!
19 الْكَنَائِسُ فِي مُقَاطَعَةِ أَسِيَّا تُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْكُمْ. وَيُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الرَّبِّ كَثِيراً، أَكِيلا وَبِرِيسْكِلّا مَعَ الْكَنِيسَةِ الَّتِي فِي بَيْتِهِمَا. 20 جَمِيعُ الإِخْوَةِ يُسَلِّمُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ. سَلِّمُوا بَعْضُكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ بِقُبْلَةٍ طَاهِرَةٍ.
21 وَإِلَيْكُمْ سَلامِي، أَنَا بُولُسَ، بِخَطِّ يَدِي. 22 إِنْ كَانَ أَحَدٌ لَا يُحِبُّ الرَّبَّ فَلْيَكُنْ «أَنَاثِيمَا» (أَيْ مَلْعُوناً)!
«مَارَانَاثَا» (أَيْ رَبَّنَا، تَعَالَ)!
23 لِتَكُنْ مَعَكُمْ نِعْمَةُ الرَّبِّ يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ!
24 وَلَكُمْ جَمِيعاً مَحَبَّتِي فِي الْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ! آمِين.

Collection for the Saints
16 Now concerning (A)the collection for the saints, as I have given orders to the churches of Galatia, so you must do also: 2 (B)On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come. 3 And when I come, (C)whomever you approve by your letters I will send to bear your gift to Jerusalem. 4 (D)But if it is fitting that I go also, they will go with me.
Personal Plans(E)
5 Now I will come to you (F)when I pass through Macedonia (for I am passing through Macedonia). 6 And it may be that I will remain, or even spend the winter with you, that you may (G)send me on my journey, wherever I go. 7 For I do not wish to see you now on the way; but I hope to stay a while with you, (H)if the Lord permits.
8 But I will tarry in Ephesus until (I)Pentecost. 9 For (J)a great and effective door has opened to me, and (K)there are many adversaries.
10 And (L)if Timothy comes, see that he may be with you without fear; for (M)he does the work of the Lord, as I also do. 11 (N)Therefore let no one despise him. But send him on his journey (O)in peace, that he may come to me; for I am waiting for him with the brethren.
12 Now concerning our brother (P)Apollos, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brethren, but he was quite unwilling to come at this time; however, he will come when he has a convenient time.
Final Exhortations
13 (Q)Watch, (R)stand fast in the faith, be brave, (S)be strong. 14 (T)Let all that you do be done with love.
15 I urge you, brethren—you know (U)the household of Stephanas, that it is (V)the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to (W)the ministry of the saints— 16 (X)that you also submit to such, and to everyone who works and (Y)labors with us.
17 I am glad about the coming of Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus, (Z)for what was lacking on your part they supplied. 18 (AA)For they refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore (AB)acknowledge such men.
Greetings and a Solemn Farewell
19 The churches of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla greet you heartily in the Lord, (AC)with the church that is in their house. 20 All the brethren greet you.
(AD)Greet one another with a holy kiss.
21 (AE)The salutation with my own hand—Paul’s.
22 If anyone (AF)does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, (AG)let him be [a]accursed. (AH)O[b] Lord, come!
