1 Corinthians 8:8-10
New King James Version
8 But (A)food does not commend us to God; for neither if we eat are we the better, nor if we do not eat are we the worse.
9 But (B)beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become (C)a [a]stumbling block to those who are weak. 10 For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating in an idol’s temple, will not (D)the conscience of him who is weak be emboldened to eat those things offered to idols?

English Standard Version
8 (A)Food will not commend us to God. We are no worse off if we do not eat, and no better off if we do. 9 But take care (B)that this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block (C)to the weak. 10 For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating[a] in an idol's temple, will he not be encouraged,[b] if his conscience is weak, to eat food offered to idols?
