7 Kaya alisin ninyo ang lumang pampaalsa na walang iba kundi ang kasalanan, upang maging bago at malinis kayo. Sa katunayan, nilinis na kayo dahil inialay si Cristo para sa atin. Tulad siya ng tupang iniaalay tuwing Pista ng Paglampas ng Anghel. 8 Kaya ipagdiwang natin ang pistang ito hindi sa pamamagitan ng tinapay na may lumang pampaalsa kundi ng tinapay na walang pampaalsa, na ang ibig sabihin ay talikuran na natin ang dati nating mga kasalanan at kasamaan, at mamuhay na tayo nang malinis at tapat.
9 Sumulat ako sa inyo noon na huwag kayong makikisama sa mga imoral.[a]

New International Version
7 Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.(A) 8 Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread(B) of sincerity and truth.
9 I wrote to you in my letter not to associate(C) with sexually immoral people—
