4 at uminom(A) din ng iisang inuming espirituwal, sapagkat uminom sila sa batong espirituwal na sumubaybay sa kanila, at ang batong iyon ay si Cristo. 5 Gayunman,(B) hindi kinalugdan ng Diyos ang marami sa kanila, kaya't nagkalat ang kanilang mga bangkay sa ilang.
6 Ang(C) lahat ng mga nangyaring iyon ay babala sa atin upang huwag tayong maghangad ng masasamang bagay, gaya ng ginawa nila.

4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

4 and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock(A) that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ. 5 Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.(B)
6 Now these things occurred as examples(C) to keep us from setting our hearts on evil things as they did.
