²⁶sapagkat^(A) “ang lupa ay sa Panginoon at ang lahat ng naririto.”

²⁷Kung kayo'y anyayahan ng isang hindi sumasampalataya at ibig ninyong pumunta, ang anumang ihain sa inyo ay kainin ninyo na walang pagtatanong dahil sa budhi.

²⁸Subalit kung sa inyo'y may magsabi, “Ito'y inialay bilang handog,” ay huwag ninyong kainin, alang-alang sa taong nagsabi, at dahilan sa budhi.

²⁶For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.

²⁷If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.

²⁸But if any man say unto you, this is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof:

²⁷If any of those who do not believe invites you to dinner, and you desire to go, ^(B)eat whatever is set before you, asking no question for conscience’ sake. ²⁸But if anyone says to you, “This was offered to idols,” do not eat it ^(C)for the sake of the one who told you, and for conscience’ sake; ^[a]for ^(D)“the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.”
