3 Pues yo, por mi parte, aunque ausente en cuerpo pero presente en espíritu(A), como si estuviera presente, ya he juzgado al que cometió tal acción. 4 En el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesús(B), cuando vosotros estéis reunidos, y yo con vosotros en espíritu, con el poder[a] de nuestro Señor Jesús(C), 5 entregad a ese tal a Satanás(D) para la destrucción de su carne, a fin de que su espíritu sea salvo(E) en el día del Señor Jesús[b](F).

3 For my part, even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit.(A) As one who is present with you in this way, I have already passed judgment in the name of our Lord Jesus(B) on the one who has been doing this. 4 So when you are assembled and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present, 5 hand this man over(C) to Satan(D) for the destruction of the flesh,[a][b] so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.(E)

6 ¿Se atreve alguno de vosotros, cuando tiene algo[a] contra su prójimo, a ir a juicio ante los incrédulos[b] y no ante los santos(A)? 2 ¿O no sabéis(B) que los santos han de juzgar(C) al mundo(D)? Y si el mundo es juzgado por vosotros, ¿no sois competentes para juzgar los casos más triviales[c]? 3 ¿No sabéis(E) que hemos de juzgar a los ángeles? ¡Cuánto más asuntos de esta vida! 4 Entonces, si tenéis tribunales que juzgan los casos de esta vida, ¿por qué ponéis por jueces a los que nada son en la iglesia?

6 If any of you has a dispute with another, do you dare to take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the Lord’s people?(A) 2 Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world?(B) And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! 4 Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, do you ask for a ruling from those whose way of life is scorned in the church?
